FAQs

  • Your first session is typically focused on getting to know each other. I’ll ask questions about what brings you to therapy, your background, and what goals you hope to achieve. It’s also a time for you to ask questions and see if you feel comfortable working together. There’s no pressure to share everything right away — we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you.

  • Therapy progress can look different for everyone. You might start to notice small changes in how you think, feel, or respond to situations. Over time, you may feel more aware, more in control, or more hopeful. We’ll check in regularly to make sure the therapy is supporting your goals, and we can always adjust our approach as needed.

  • There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Some people find a few sessions helpful for working through a specific issue, while others benefit from longer-term support. Together, we’ll decide what feels right for you based on your needs, goals, and progress. You’re never locked in — you can pause or stop therapy at any time.
